Produced by Connect Music, Neopop is the heir of Anti Pop’s festival with a new name and a bolder art direction. This festival is a showcase of the peripheral electronic culture targeted to a mainstream audience. It’s now the biggest and most renowned electronic festival in Portugal.

Neopop happens at Viana do Castelo’s urban and historical centre. Every utility from restaurants, accommodation, medical aid and other basic services are assured by the city’s own logistics. The Estátua da Menina de Viana square is the festival’s stage and it is surrounded by Santigo da Barra’s Fortress. It is a unique intersection between the past centuries architecture and avant-garde music - all living in balance.

Since day one, the festivals' communications approached has privileged a close and intimate relationship between the people and the spirit of the event. In 2012 we will continue to pursue this concept, but this time giving it a new meaning and dimension. A new relationship that should be shared and understood by all electronic music lovers, regardless if they prefer house, dubstep or techno.
